Ledger
The central data structure that holds all financial information in nxos
A ledger is the overarching data structure that holds all the data within the Nxos system. It serves as the central repository for storing and managing financial information, including accounts, assets, and transactions.
Users have the flexibility to create a single ledger for all their needs or create multiple ledgers to map to different users, accounts, or entirely separate use cases on their end. This allows for a high degree of customization and adaptability to various business requirements.
Choosing single or multi-ledger architectures has no impact on the performance of the system. It is purely a design choice based on the user’s requirements.
